A Northern California original, God’s Gift is believed to be a cross of two of the most well-respected pain relieving strains, Granddaddy Purple and OG Kush. Its popularity exploded in the California medical cannabis scene around 2005 and spread out to other parts of the country from there. Besides offering powerful broad spectrum pain relief and body relaxation, this unique strain also provides a euphoric, giggly high useful in calming anxiety, depression, PMS, and stress. For the novice grower, God’s Gift may be a good choice as she’s not too picky or demanding, stays fairly compact, and can be cultivated indoors or out.

A good strain for beginner growers, as she requires very little care or attention during the vegetation process and is not susceptible to under watering or low nutrients. Plants usually reach about 4 feet, take 8 to 9 weeks to finish, and are squat. They're most suitable for indoor grows, but outdoor is not out of the question.

There is a lot of speculation that God's Gift is an outright indica strain that found its rise to prominence on the West Coast sometime between 2004 and 2006--a time when California dispensaries especially could not keep enough of this stuff around to keep their shelves stocked. Since the mid 2000s, this NorCal original has made its way across the entire state of California and is now found across the entire U.S.

Additional Information

This appropriately named Indica-dominant hybrid strain is the mix of two of the most popular pain-relief strains known to mankind. Some say God’s Gift is considered to have lineage that makes it roughly 90% Indica and only 10% Sativa, but this is easily debatable.

God’s Gift is a mix of two potent pain-relief strains; OG Kush and Granddaddy Purple. It became popular in the year 2005 with the California-area dispensaries. With a strong overripe berry smell and taste like Granddaddy Purple, this blend is a mix of about 90% Indica and 10% Sativa. It gives an instant and full-bodied feeling of euphoria which is great not only for feeling happy and relaxed, but also for treating pain symptoms like migraines and PMS.

God's Gift is an outright Indica medical marijuana strain that found its rise to prominence in 2005, a time where California dispensaries could not stop stocking their shelves with this strain. This particular medical marijuana strain contains numerous flavors, primarily those that are reminiscent of grape, citrus and hash. God's Gift is the love child of Granddaddy Purple and O.G. Kush. It does not matter what god you believe in, this can be considered a holy gift by any means. This specific medical marijuana strain is also known to boast an entirely powerful THC percentage of somewhere around eighteen to twenty-two percent.
